For the YCN student award, UK greetings asked to create a collection of greeting cards, note-cards, notepads, gift bags and wrapping paper.
The Burt and Brenda collection is meant to be reflected as a brand itself. These two characters can be represented on different situations that are almost limitless such as Summer, Christmas, Birthday etc. This concept has been designed to find the right balance between fun, cheesy, cute and original.
Those oversized naked characters are just an image of not being ashamed of what we are, our bodies but also our feelings for someone.
Burt and Brenda are like ‘two peas in a pod’.
This lovely couple accept themselves the way they are and do not care about what other people think. They literally have nothing except each others and that is perfect for them. They accept their imperfections which makes them perfect for each others. Join the adventure and share a moment with them, you might end up loving them too.
The collection is aiming for both genders depending from the object itself. The main target of this collection are young adult to middle aged between 20 to 40 years old. They are meant to be offered between lovers on different occasions such as Valentines day but also at any occasion someone will fancy showing affection for their partner.
